So grateful for this place! Not only are their butter crunch donuts *the best* any day of the week, but I recently ordered a birthday cake and cupcakes for my daughter's 1st birthday. The team was communicative, the turnaround was quick, and the cake was gorgeous and delicious. New go-to for event needs!
So many delicious baked goods and types of Coffee by Design coffee freshly brewed! They sell cake and yeast donuts, cream horns, bagels, and more. While everything is good (we tried the cream horns and apple fritters, which were pretty tasty), their standout item is the jelly donut. They offer them with several fillings, including cream, lemon, maple cream, and raspberry jam, and they are HUGE. The maple cream was so good and the perfect sweet, fall treat! Can't wait to visit again!
Have never been there in person, so I don't know any of the logistics of the location. A friend brought us a lovely variety of donuts, cookies, and pastries. Everything was good but the best thing was of course the name of the shop... the COOKIES!!! There was a double chocolate chip, m&m, sugar, and oatmeal raisin cookies. All good within their own way it was hard to pick a favorite.
This place is a little known Treasure.

Wow! Are you looking for a phenomenal donut, pie, cupcake, cookie, or otherwise bakery item? Well, look no further because you will not find one better than those at The Cookie Jar. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and with Fort Williams right down the road, there is no better place to get a sweet treat and see some sweet views.
You must go here. Even if you're nowhere near it you should still probably go ;) Amazing house made pastries including fresh Danish, huge and beautiful donuts, cookies galore, cupcakes and pies. Large shop with plenty of room to enjoy your treat. Large assortment of coffee by Coffee by Design. Helpful, friendly staff, and good prices! Just an unbelievably fantastic place.
Lots of delectable baked specialties and other goodies, like Maple Syrup! Excellent selection of different coffee — you’re sure to find something you like.
One word. AWESOME! Great donuts for a great price. I recommend the raised glazed or the apple glazed. They were both fantastic. All the items they have are made fresh in store! Staff is friendly and very helpful.
